Micropoetry - July 2017

No, you are mistaken. This Micropoetry July wrap-up post is not late, it's been fashionably delayed.

All the cool kids agree 😎

So, here they are, my poems from July:

girl with starry background pic

18th July

A shine she could not share
A heart she could not hold
A life she could not lift
A cry she heard too clearly

19th July

There was starlight
bathing the stairs
That night.
Bringing light
when we thought
we had none.

26th July

Are you telling me
their narrative
is what you believe?
Or don't you notice,
when they're selling you
a tainted
day-dream?

Hope you liked them!

  1. I really love the one for the 19th! And the one for 26th feels powerful in a way but I don't really know how to explain it. Great as always, Cee!
