Micropoetry - August 2017

I wrote three pieces of micropoetry in August, and somehow they seem a little... different to what I usually write...?

I think I like them though - they're strong (if I do say so myself, lol.)

Whether they're good is another question; decide for yourself:

11th August

The droplets tapped out
the song
I asked you
what
was wrong
You sat for a while
Then replied
with a smile
'Danger
lingers
in her
eyes'

21st August

Voices were won
Through blood
sweat
heartbreak
hardship.
We will not
give up
our voices
now.
So back off.

25th August

My heart is spilled
Across your health
wealth
& happiness
Use my bones for your bridges
My blood for your paint
My flame is your warmth

And that's it! Lemme know whatcha think my dearest nerdlets!!!
