Film Trailers

New Justice League trailers and mini-trailers! This is not a drill!

(Warning: flashing images in all)

...but like, DC, really - we know you're bringing back Superman, you know you're bringing back Superman, so can we stop pretending now?! Ok? Ok.

And is anyone else just super glad that Ezra Miller and Jason Momoa are in this? :)

TV Trailers

We also have a fresh crop of superhero TV show trailers from DC's Arrowverse @ the CW.

And let's start with Arrow, shall we?:

Graphic Novels

This week I read The Tea Dragon Society by Kay O'Neill.

Argh! It's SO good! XD

I'll be reviewing it at the end of October/beginning of November-ish! (And probably gushing quite a bit!)

Other Stuff

After literally making a deal with people who trade in blood and suffering, Marvel did something we haven't seen much of lately - IT ACTUALLY LISTENED TO ITS FANS!

So they've dropped the deal.

I really have no idea what they were thinking to begin with - probably something along the lines of 'oh, if we can make Captain America a freaking Nazi, then I guess we can do whatever the f**k we want!' - but at least they've come to their senses on this one!

In other Marvel news, Stan Lee gave us all a message this week - one that really makes me wish he was still in charge of the day-to-day running of things...

Marvel, THIS is the spirit you need to embody - every time you go to do something horrible and/or support arms companies and Nazis, I want you to think of Stan Lee being disappointed in you.

You may or may not remember a blogpost I wrote last year with a list of graphic novels with Latino, Latina, or Latinx main characters.

I've now made a List Challenges list from that blogpost - so check it out! :)

So that's it for this week! Don't forget to comment and share!

  1. Ugh Marvel seems pretty problematic. But at least they’re making some progress!
