Nerd Church - Random Life/Blogging Update (It's Been A Rough Week)

It's been an extremely rough week.

And I'm emotionally exhausted, at this point.

My grandmother passed away last weekend.

And even though we'd known, for a while, that it was coming - even though we'd almost lost her twice this year already - it still hurts like hell.

So in all honesty I'm not entirely sure what it is that I'm writing at this point. I just hope it ends up making sense.

I didn't have anything planned for Nerd Church - all the posts I'm working on are way too far from completion, and I just don't have the energy to even attempt them right now.

So this is a kind of ad hoc update about *waves hands* everything.

For the last couple of years, I've been scaling back on blogging during August to give myself a chance to catch up with blog admin and attempt to get ahead of my blogging schedule (*hysterical laughter*)

I figure this year it'd be best to do that in July - give myself a breather and some space to grieve.

So, Nerd Church is going on break until 1st August 2021.

There will be a Friday Fics Fix on this Friday (June 25th 2021) to finish up Pride Fics Fest, and then Friday Fics Fix will be going on break until 6th August 2021.

Comics Wrap-Up will continue through July and take its break in August (mainly so I can keep talking about Loki - albeit an episode behind.)

Other posts will or won't be posted whenever I feel like it - which is pretty much how it works around here anyway.

I'll still be posting some of my archive to Medium, but maybe at a slightly slower rate.

I'll still be *wavy hand motions* around but it feels like my brain is running at half-speed at best right now, so I need to kind of... regroup, I guess.

Thanks to everyone who's sent me messages. You're beautiful, dearest nerdlets.

And you know I'm a stubborn little so-and-so - I plan on blogging even when I'm not posting, getting some of that damn admin done, and attempting to plan/schedule posts (although that never seems to happen... *shrugs*)
