WTF American Censorship
In line with the horrifying book-banning trend sweeping parts of the US, politicians in the state of Virginia are suing Oni Press, the publishers of graphic memoir Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe, for, y'know... publishing it.
This is censorship. In case anyone was in doubt.
Apparently America only cares about protecting free speech if it means some jerk can scream bigotted things at marginalised people online.
Queer people simple existing - and writing and publishing books about our own experiences, heaven forbid - isn't permitted.

Loved that youtube video. I'm shocked by the amount of men who were acting like the Captain Marvel movie simply existing would cause the world to collapse. They better not be bringing out the same criticisms when my fave Ms. Marvel joins the second movie because that's gonna be epic!
