Ok - there's a trailer for the second Joker movie (as in, the sequel to the Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie.)
Warning: flashing images, general violence, institutionalisation (mental health,) brief suicide joke (finger-gun to the head/shooting motion)
It's titled Joker: Folie A Deux, and introduces Harley Quinn. Apparently.
Look, Lady Gaga's awesome and everything, but Margot Robbie is Harley Quinn in the same way that Hugh Jackman is Wolverine - they are iconic and irreplaceable in those roles, and I struggle to think of anyone else filling them.
Still, good luck to her.
This may be an odd thing to say in a world that seems to prefer superlatives, but Joker: Folie A Deux looks like it'll be OK.
Not earth-shattering, not awful. Just, alright.
Probably entertaining for a little bit. Possibly pretentious in places.
...Y'know, like the first film was.
