March wasn't great.
Not terrible - but then, the bar for terrible is pretty high (or low, depending on your perspective, I guess,) at this point - but not great.
Basically: my mental health sucks at the moment.
BUT the X-Men cartoon is back!!!
And I watched, and read, (and hopefully wrote,) a whole bunch of awesome stuff!!!
And March starts with Welsh cakes!
The first of March is St. David's Day - the patron saint of Wales. So in my family we always have Welsh cakes (a specific type of flat cake, not just any cake made in Wales,) to celebrate.
This year, March also saw Wales get a new First Minister/Prif Weinidog of the Senedd (Welsh parliament.)
...That's actually something of a novelty still since we're only on the 5th leader in the Senedd's history - the Senedd itself only being established in the late 90s.
On 20th March, Vaughan Gething became First Minister/Prif Weinidog, making him the first Black leader of any European nation.
Predictably, some small-minded people don't like that - but I'm proud that our small nation has such a historic milestone to its name. 😊
