Comics Wrap-Up title image with manga style woman handing her shadow a flower

It's comics time again! Woop! XD

Let's look at all the nice comics-y goodness!

(I struggle with intros - can you tell? 😅)

Film Trailers

I have another li'l Ant-Man and The Wasp trailer for you!

I'm overly-amused by the buzz pun. #TrueStory

Other Stuff

James Gunn (Marvel producer/director) shared a Thanos meme relating to the Trump-Putin meeting (Infinity War spoilers in link.)

In no way do I find this hilarious. Nope. Of course not. 😂😂😂

dividing line

Fans of the Wonder Woman comics will be pleased to learn that Ms Marvel writer G. Willow Wilson is the new WW writer!

There's been a lot of murmurs of discontent from WW readers lately, so this seems like a good move by DC.

  1. I actually have read an AMAZING graphic novel recently recommended to me by my sister. It’s called Maus, and it’s basically a cartoonist telling his father’s story of being a Jew during the Holocaust, but he illustrates the jew’s as mice and the nazi’s as cats! It was so incredible.

    1. I've always wanted to read that but... like, I know it's a metaphor, but I like cats, and I hate Nazis (obv.) so putting the two together is... a bit weird, y'know?

  2. Recently read Orphans vol 1 written by 2 Italians. Love the dual timelines with the past and the future. And I love orphans! ♥️♥️
