The Umbrella Academy (TUA) fic time again!!! Woo!
And yes, as you've probably guessed, this fic is firmly front-and-centred on m'boy Klaus Hargreeves.
Set before the first season of TUA (but also containing a couple of mild SPOILERS - so consider yourselves warned,) this fic follows one of Klaus' many, many, stints in rehab.
Klaus' times in rehabs have, unsurprisingly, been a fertile playground for fic authors. There's so much to explore - so many metaphorical angst flowers to skip among!
Not that this fic is all that angsty, on the whole, because it's not.
Overall, this is really positive and about using artsy crafty things to support your mental health and/or recovery from substance addiction.
Klaus knits a little in one of the episodes of TUA, and honestly? We stan a knitting Queen in fandom (we stan knitting men generally, not gonna lie.)

(Fandom notes:
To stan = to support hard.
Previously used negatively, now often more of an ironic/sarcastic positive.
Original meaning is scary and/or cringy levels of obsession with media or celebrity (from the Eminem song and video,) but this (espec. the cringy aspect,) is now commonly replaced with 'to simp.'
'To stan' is still sometimes used with its original meaning, though.)
My only hang-up here is that I would've preferred this to be set after the series, or in an AU, because even though I knew what was coming, it still blindsided me.
Because with being set before the series, we have to get Klaus to the point he's at at the beginning of series 1. Which is not sober.
And that's where the main angst comes in here. It got me right in the goddamn feels.
