Comics Wrap-Up - I Conduct Fear Like Electricity

'Comics Wrap-Up' with lined-notebook-style background and speech bubbles containing heart symbols

It's Thursday, this is Dora Reads, let's get some superhero-y comics-y goodness!

TV Trailers

More Moon Knight trailers ahead of next week's series premiere!

My plan atm is to talk about each episode a week behind like I did for Loki and Hawkeye, although I'll keep you updated if that changes, ofc.

(Also, I finally clicked that Oscar Isaac is the dude from Star Wars *face palms* lol)

OK, there's two trailer-trailers (trailers that are actual trailers - I make so much sense, lol,) and some little clips that are kinda trailers and kinda just random clips.

Trailers first!

Warning: flashing images, horror elements, distress due to symptoms of Dissociative Identity Disorder, general violence

And now for the clips.

I personally think the second one was a little too out-of-context for use as marketing, but I don't work for either Marvel or Disney (as lucky as they'd be to have me 😅)

Other Stuff

And to end, as is traditional, with some shameless self-promo:

I wrote a bunch of superhero-related stories on Medium this week, adapted from parts of last week's CWU post, which you can see here if you'd rather read here on Dora Reads than over on Medium.

Here's the Medium stories:

Are you looking forward to Moon Knight?

Do you think the clips are too out-of-context for marketing, or am I being too critical? 😅

Talk to me! 😄💬

  1. Maybe it is too out of context. Then again, who knows the ulterior motives that Disney has for everything. With giant corporations, there's always a plan. Whether that plan is executed well... that's a different story!
