19th May 2026 - What is your favourite flower?
I love gerberas.
I always call gerberas ‘happy flowers’ — they’re bright and beautiful and, so long as they’re not wired (bad florists *sprays with water bottle*) they freaking dance.
No, really — they dance.
They will (ever so slowly) move around in the vase or whatever that you’ve put them in, so when you leave them and then come back to them, they’re curved and positioned differently to when you left them.
How freaking beautiful is that?! Why would you try to control that freedom with a freaking wire?! (Yes, I was raised by hippies, what of it?)

Gerberas are also super under-rated, which I think is a shame — like, where is the gerbera love my friends?
This flower strides in and says ‘I am a huge fricking neon daisy that dances’ and people are just like, ‘oh, ok.’ WTF?!
So, yeah. Gerberas — I love ‘em.
