I'm in an Oliver Queen kind of a mood! 💘
The new series trailer (which I featured in yesterday's comics wrap-up,) has got me in the mood for some Arrow!
Plus, my life is stressful right now, so I need Oliver Queen.
For those of you who don't know - Oliver Queen is one of the random assorted things that have saved my life over the years.
I mean that literally.
...And more than once.

One of these days I'll get around to explaining exactly what Oliver Queen means to me, but the last time I tried to do that, the file was lost when my laptop died 👍
(No. I hadn't backed it up. Because I hadn't gotten around to it, ok? Argh! Lol.)
Not like I was pouring my heart out in that file or anything... - Umm... Hey! Look! A distraction!!!!! *runs*

Felicity gave a watery laugh, wiping tears from her eyes, "It seems our roles have been reversed."'
So, this fic is preeeeetty much generic Arrow-y goodness - melodrama, team members awkwardly making up, and Oliver being randomly drugged by some bad guys.
There are some SPOILERS for various features of the series but... to be honest, like I said, it's generic Arrow-y goodness, so it's probably not that easy to tell which details have been switched by the fic author and which haven't.
Generally, this is pure superhero-ness, but there are a few things that I need to give Warnings for.
Warnings, then, for the following: suicidal thoughts, attempted suicide, self-hatred, being drugged, extreme pain (described as torture,) and general violence.
Over all, though?
This is one where you can just enjoy the Arrow-ness of everything.
Which, if you can't wait for the next series... 😉

There is nothing better than a tv series that just makes you feel safe. I have a lot that have special places in my heart, mostly Gilmore Girls and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I’m glad you love this show!
ReplyDeleteI metaphorically lean on Oliver Queen a lot! I wouldn't say Arrow makes me feel safe, so much as... strong. Which is pretty good too ;)
