OK, so, the world has wanted a PG-13 (US rating) version of Deadpool for quite a while, but the problem is that that doesn't leave you with much footage to work with...

Cue a framing device a la The Princess Bride, featuring Fred Savage (who was the kid in Princess Bride,) and what we get is Once Upon a Deadpool!

Other Stuff

A US publisher - Abrams - has cancelled the publication of an extremely* racist and Islamophobic graphic novel.

The graphic novel, originally being marketed as a kids' book, despite Abrams now claiming that it was supposed to be an adult graphic novel, was called 'A Suicide Bomber Sits in the Library.'

That title was pretty much the tone this book was going for.

From what's known to the public, it never gave the potential suicide bomber (he never detonates the device,) who is a CHILD, an actual name.

It also conflated Islam and Islamic extremism/terrorism.

If you can't see the problem with that, then you need to take a good look at your own perceptions and prejudices. 

*From the knowledge we have of it - obviously I haven't read it, since it's been pulled, so it's only right of me to point that out.

On an only slightly related (but totally self-promotional note) myself & Evelina from Avalinah's Books had a discussion about our superpowers that you should totally read. 😉
