I think we could all do with a little oomph and some good tunes, right?

These tracks are both awesomely awesome, and Queer af.

'7 Amazing Queer Songs To Bring You Joy and Brighten Your Weekend' with rainbow background and multi-coloured musical notes dotted around the words

The world wears down on Queer folks - and sometimes it's good to just surround ourselves with the creations of our LGBTQ+ siblings.

But then, the world's weary atm whether you're Queer or not, so I hope all of you enjoy this little pick me up! 😀

Here we go then:

1. Flamboyant by Dorian Electra

Dorian Electra is amazing - I love them so much!

And they are SO hot! Defeating toxic masculinity one music video at a time!

2. ME! by Taylor Swift & Brendon Urie

...did you really think I was gonna miss an opportunity to include this? 😉

LGBTQ+ ally Taylor Swift with Pansexual/Fluid icon Brendon Urie singing about individuality - what more could you want?!

Plus, the video is one of the gayest f**king things I've ever seen!

(Warning: mild flashing images)

3. Girls Like Girls by Hayley Kiyoko

I couldn't write this list without Lesbian Jesus*, could I?

(Warning: violence, blood, alcohol & smoking)

*I didn't come up with the name, that's just what fans call her. Don't @ me.

4. Light's Up by Harry Styles

The Queer energy in this song, and espec. in this vid., is awesomely amazing.

Also, confession time... I cried the first time I heard this song. I don't usually cry at songs, but this one hits deep, ok? 😅

All the lights couldn't put out the dark / Runnin' through my heart / Lights up and they know who you are... - How do people not cry at that?!

Plus, it looks amazing. Not the video (though that's good too,) - the song... not sure how to explain it! #SynaesthesiaProblems!

(Warning: flashing images)

5. Cheap Queen by King Princess

King Princess' star is on the rise, and I'm loving it!

Cheap Queen, the title track from her debut album, is one of my faves.

(Warning: sexual references, cannabis, alcohol)

6. Fight Like a Girl by ZOLITA

Imho, ZOLITA is waaaay too under-rated. She utterly rocks.

Check out her intersectional feminist anthem 'Fight Like a Girl'

(Warning: some references to sexual assault)

7. Rainbow Dragon by Keiynan Lonsdale

I love Keiynan Lonsdale - just his whole vibe is beautiful af, and the music is good too!

Hopefully he'll bring the smile to your face he brings to mine!

(Warning: flashing images, sexual references, drugs references)

    1. I'd never really been into him, cos 1D was what the younger kids were into, y'know? My crowd were emo/goth nerds, on the whole, so there weren't many 1D fans around!

But yes, his new album is awesome sauce! XD
