This fic made me laugh - so of course, I had to rec. it.
Like, I was planning on going for another fandom this week - or at least not another Stucky fic but... *shrugs* this fic is what I found.
And I really liked it.
(Fangirling notes: Stucky is when Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, and Bucky Barnes, aka The Winter Soldier, have a romantic and/or sexual relationship.
It makes sense, and you can't deny it. 😉)
This fic sees Steve and Bucky taking on the challenge of a world that's almost, but not quite, like the one they remember.
...Which I think is something all of us can relate to right now.
(Oh yeah, your girl can make fluff fics into a deep(ish) social point! You should know this by now 😅)

So, this is mostly fluffity-fluff-fluff, with plenty of snarkity-snark-snark.
(Fangirling notes: translated to non-fanspeak - 'this is fluffy with plenty of sarcasm.')
But there's also a brief moment of serious injury and a hospital scene because, y'know, they have a day job that involves being superheroes, and that's kinda dangerous.

Bucky and Steve have such a cute relationship in this fic!
...but not in a way that's out-of-character - they're still the sarcastic little so-and-so's that we love!

I don’t think I would be awesome in the future. This is because the world will only get even more techy than it already is, and I have never been very tech-savvy. I shudder to think of a world controlled by technology!
ReplyDeleteHa, I'm with you - technology hates me! If we ever end up in the future, we can make our own weird-a** 'back-to-ye-olde-days-only-without-the-discrimination-and-poor-living-conditions' commune and live in the woods making pottery ;)
