A few starting notes:

I received a free digital review copy of this book via NetGalley. NetGalley provides review copies from publishers in exchange for fair and honest reviews.

Honestly, I like me some short stories - and I never fail to be impressed by Rosarium Publishing - so I figured, why not? And decided to give this a shot.

Premise:

A collection of voices - an unforgotten collected memory that encompasses the past, present, and future.

These short stories are tales of strength, pain, sacrifice, and life. These are the voices of martyrs.

Nerd Church - Planet Earth is Blue...

We're f**king up the world my dear nerdlets. Sorry to be all doom and gloom, but it's the truth.

The fact is, our impact on the environment is not OK. And we need to show the powers-that-be (whoever they may be) that we want action on climate change.

Climate Change, unlike what a certain orange politician will tell you, is very real.

And we millennials? We're gonna be the ones who face the consequences.

We need to show that it's NOT GOOD ENOUGH. And that we believe in evidence, science, and actually taking some f**king responsibility every now and then.

Friday Fics Fix - Mr Pool

This week, I dived into the mire that is Deadpool-related fanfiction.

Most of that stuff I obviously can't recommend to you because... much as I love the Deadpool fandom... we do tend towards the bizarre. And/or disturbing.

Nerd Church - Eff Off FOMO

You know what I'm sick to death of? People trying to make others guilty for not having seen this film, or read that book.

The effect it has on you is called FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out. And, as a concept, it's stupid as all hell.

Guess what? There are many centuries' worth of popular (and niche) culture to consume. No one has time to get through it all.

Friday Fics Fix - Ladies' Choice

Shall we continue to change the world my nerdlets? Well I have a fab fic for you that takes us another inch towards doing just that.

This is Marvel (again... I really need to find some good fics from other fandoms!) and includes our dear Black Widow teaching Captain America about feminism.
