So I figure there's nothing wrong with some pure randomness every now and then. It's quite refreshing, given the world we currently live in... (Me? Cynical? Pshaw! Pshaw I say!)

Review! (Poetry Edition!) - The Princess Saves Herself In This One by Amanda Lovelace
Author: Amanda Lovelace
Genre: Poetry
A few starting notes:
I received a free digital review copy of this book via NetGalley. NetGalley provides review copies from publishers in exchange for fair and honest reviews.
There's been so much buzz around this book - including a Goodreads Choice Award for Poetry in 2016.
People love this book - and to hear this much about a poetry collection isn't an everyday occurrence, so when I got the opportunity to review it, I took it.
A note before we go on guys: This book deals with some very difficult topics in an open and often raw way; please be careful.

Nerd Church - It's Nearly Eurovision Time!
Okay, it's a gay* cliché, but I love Eurovision!
The final is next Saturday (13th May) - I'm probably going to record it though, because that way I can skip through the awkward voting satellite link-ups that take waaaay too long!
Honestly though, I'm totally looking forward to the big, shiny, glittery, spectacle that is the biggest show on Earth!
*I'm using gay as an umbrella term here for all LGBTQ+ folks, because it fit better in that sentence!

Friday Fics Fix - Whatcha Gonna Do About It?
Spoiler warning: potential Harry Potter spoilers ahead!
Bringing someone new home to the family is challenging. Now, if that person also fought against you in the recent magic war, it might make things a li'l awkward.

But like, it'll all work out in the end... right? It's not like you were a Death Eater, and he was The Boy Who Lived or anything... oh. Right. That.

Micropoetry - April 2017
Here's the micropoetry I wrote in April!
I'm planning on posting one or two other micropoetry posts very soon, since people seemed to think it was a good idea when I suggested it last month.
I was going to do it in April, but, *shrugs* life happens. So I'm hoping to get at least one done by the end of May. (Emphasis on hoping!)
