November wasn't great.
I mean... it wasn't the worst month ever.
And any month you can walk away from is a good one.
But yeah, November wasn't great.
Sometimes I think the world really did end in 2012, it just took a while for us to notice.
The 2020s just feel pretty apocalyptic so far, don't they?
And on a personal note, my mental health took a bit of a dive.
Yes, again.

I'm also super-busy atm, so, as I usually end up doing in December, I'm taking a break from my usual blogpost serieseses (or whatever the plural of series is.)
So there'll be no Comics Wrap-Up, Friday Fics Fix, or Nerd Church until January.
Hopefully you can all hold on until then 😅

ReplyDeleteNovember was another month of struggling for me. My husband is (very) slowly healing from a nasty foot/leg ulcer (caused by peripheral arterial occlusive disease, for which he got a femoral balloon angioplasty). I've been doing ALL THE THINGS at home and out for 3 months now, and I'm very tired. Reading has helped though, and a friend just sent me a mini Tenth Doctor and TARDIS that totally made my month!

Ouch, hope he feels as well as he can! And remember to take care of yourself, OK? It's all too easy when you're in 'carer mode' (which I slip into scarily easily,) to forget about what *you* need - so remember that self-care's vitally important if you're gonna be able to take care of others.
I'm sorry your mental health took a dive last month :( There must've been something in the air, for sure! I totally relate to wanting to take a step back and being super busy this time of year. I feel like every day I've got something going on! Take care of yourself, Cee!

DeleteI like that sentiment- any month we survive is a good one lol. But your idea of the world actually having ended is compelling. Maybe we're all living in a post apoc simulation or something? Would explain MANY things. Anyway...
